666 System

Last updated: 05.04.2024 by Andrew Shepard

The roulette wheel and the game itself are often called the Devil’s plaything. Why? Because the sum total of the wheel is 666. Yet, don’t take this as a bad thing. Where others see portents, players see opportunity and today we will talk about the 666 roulette strategy, which is a surprisingly clever way to play the game and make it work in your favor over the long run.

How Does the 666 Roulette Strategy Work?

Right on, if you are keen to play roulette and use the 666 strategy, you will find out how to do so very quickly. You will basically bet R36 on Red. Then, you will bet R4 on each of the following splits:

  • 0+2
  • 8+11
  • 10+13
  • 17+20
  • 26+29
  • 28+31

These splits specifically cover the black bets. Then, place R2 on each of the three uncovered black bets.

66 System Works

Right, as you can see, the system covers 33 out of the 37 available numbers in a game of European roulette and gives you an 89.19% chance of winning. You also bet a total of R66. Here is the outcome you can expect depending on what happens.

  • One of the splits wins: You will hit an R6 profit if this is the case. You have 32.43% chance for this particular outcome.
  • One of the straight-up wins: You will once again hit a R6 profit. You have 8.11% chance for this outcome.
  • Red wins: You will again hit R6 unit profit. You have 48.65% for this outcome.
  • None wins: If you lose, however, you will be R66 in the red. The chance of this actually happening is 10.81%. Here are how several rounds would play out, too.

By using the 666 strategy, a player must win 11 times to compensate for a single loss. Let’s try the 666 strategy in practice.

  • Spin 1

You hit 10 and we win one of the split bets, which yields R6 profit.

  • Spin 2

The ball hits 35, and we once again win R6, for a total profit of R12.

  • Spin 3

The ball hits 19 and we are once again winning, pushing the win session to R16.

  • Spin 4

The ball hits 4 and we lose 66 units or end up with 48 in the black.

  • Spin 5

We win on a 31 and win another R6 but we are down to R42, nevertheless.

Testing the 666 System

We have put the 666 System to the test to see what the outcome of it will be. We ran a simulation in Google Docs writing our own code to see it through. For the purposes of the simulation, we programmed the algorithm to use the roulette 666 strategy so that we can get an idea of what to expect in the long turn over numerous rounds. In this case, we set the number of rounds to 1,000 and gave each of the players a budget of R1,000.

Testing the 666 System

Each player had a slightly different experience with the session. Players 1, 2, and 3 hit a steady downward trajectory using the 666 System after 400 rounds in the game. Player 3 did manage to recover later, however.

Player 4 seemed to be doing much better as they indeed saw most of their progression on an upward trajectory around round 400. From that point on, they started to decline as well, and inevitable ended in a loss.

As the graph reveals, Player 3 did recover a fair bit, but still finished the sequence below the R1,000 bankroll they had been given at the very beginning.

Pitfalls of Using the 666 System

As the graph tells you the 666 System does look good on paper. You are covering a fair bit of the betting field and table, so in theory there should be no significant risk. The issue comes with the fact that you have a big chance to lose R66. When you are only winning R6 per spin, even a single loss every 10 or so rounds can be a significant issue.

You would also need a big budget to sustain yourself, as in our case we had R1,000 to go on, and we found this to be helpful. Of course, these were all simulations which ended in the players forfeiting their bankrolls, but we still found the simulation to be particularly helpful and talking about what you can expect from the strategy in the long run.

With this said, 666 System may still work if you break lucky like one of our players did shortly after they started. However, a lot will ride on pure luck, and you may find yourself somewhat constrained by this. Luck plays a role in every strategy, of course, but with 666 System things can feel a little riskier on occasion. Approach this strategy with the utmost caution.

Conclusion

Conclusion The 666 System has a “marketing” edge over many other strategies. The number itself is quite buzzworthy and players are drawn to it, even though it’s arguably a strategy that is less effective than some of the other strategies we have covered here. The short-term could work for the system. The trouble all comes when you hit a loss. You need 11 wins to make up for this, and you are supposed to hit a loss 1 in 10. In other words, the longer you hang around and play, the greater the chance of actually flopping is. This does add a sort of consternation to your gameplay, and maybe even rises the question. Isn’t there a more efficient strategy to use? Perhaps there is, and you can check all of the systems and roulette strategies we cover on our website as well.
